Self Service and Interactive Audit

The self service component for u.achieve (formerly DARwin) provides Web access to appropriate functions for your students and faculty. Self service is configurable and can be customized for a look and feel that suits your campus. The interactive audit allows the degree audit to be shown with pie charts and bar graphs that indicate a student's progress toward completion of a degree program, as well as formatting the details of the audit in a more attractive manner. Interactive audit can be requested and displayed independently from self service, or as an option of the portal. A Corda PopChart license (sold through redLantern) is required for use of the interactive audit.

The following demos show you the self service feature provided within your u.achieve license and the interactive audit. The portal is intended to allow students, advisors, and others to access components of the u.achieve program in a user-friendly and streamlined manner.

Since u.achieve is typically only accessed by those directly involved with the technical and encoding functions at an institution, this portal provides access to areas needed by students and advisors. The functionality can include:

For students: running audits for their declared degree program; running 'what-if' audits; and adding 'what-if' courses.

For advisors: adding students; entering exceptions; adding 'what-if' courses; entering and evaluating transfer courses; running audits for the student's declared degree program; and running a 'what-if' audit.

The first demonstration will walk you through both self service and the interactive audit applications while highlighting the key features and functionality within these areas. Once you have familiarized yourself with the applications you can use the second interactive demo to test out both applications and give them a try yourself. Please keep in mind demonstrations of the interactive audit or self service, such as these, will certainly be less robust than the actual implementation.
