u.achieve Interface

Interfacing u.achieve with Your Student Information System

Since its initial mainframe version (DARS), u.achieve has been structured to interface with any student system, both home or vendor developed. redLantern has developed and resells an interface for Banner, several APIs have also been developed for institutions to use in interfacing to their homegrown systems, and a third-party partner of redLantern, IMS (Interface Management Services), has developed and re-sells an interface to PeopleSoft. In addition to the already developed interfaces, redLantern also works with another partner, Gnarus Corporation, that can assist instituions in developing interfaces to their homegrown systems.

redLantern/Banner Interface

When Miami University purchased Banner, the decision to interface the u.achieve product with Banner was one of the first made. redLantern’s Banner Interface provides a real-time data exchange between u.achieve and Banner and interfaces the two systems seamlessly. With look-alike Oracle forms, data entry into the system looks and feels as if you were working in the same application. Students run and view audits through Banner Self Service, which gives them a centralized location for accessing all important documents and applications.
