Set up and Maintenance Considerations

Initial installation requires modifying property files and setting up the interfaces. There is some upfront configuration time required in order to tightly integrate the application with your systems. These configurations mostly involve setting up views in the database, configuring property files, and hooking up the security to adequately reflect your planned use of DCP. There is ample help available through detailed documentation, and online support. In some cases our partner, Interface Management Systems, can be contracted to help you with your initial installation.

Once the application is installed, the majority of maintenance required will be managing access and security for users who are building roadmaps. There may be database jobs required to clean up the database and to update the course catalog data.
